We are excited to announce the launch of the Turnberg & Swallow Team at Coldwell Banker Realty – Longmeadow. The team is led by REALTORS® Ann Turnberg & Erica Swallow and proud to welcome its inaugural team member Jennifer McDiarmid.
With a collective 39 years of real estate experience, our agents have helped more than 1,000 clients achieve their real estate goals, producing more than $270 million in sales volume. Our work has been featured in The New York Times and MassLive, among other publications.
Over the past months, our team has worked together collaboratively, co-broking on numerous transactions, developing and tracking goals, and sharing learnings and best practices in group and one-on-one settings. We called ourselves a “loose confederacy,” but today, we are proud to announce ourselves as an official real estate team.

Erica Swallow, Ann Turnberg, and Jennifer McDiarmid of the Turnberg & Swallow Team at Coldwell Banker
Ann Turnberg has been with the Coldwell Banker Longmeadow office longer than Coldwell Banker! An accomplished and influential agent in the region, she was responsible for bringing the DeWolfe Companies to Pioneer Valley in 1997, having recruited 42 agents to open the Longmeadow office. DeWolfe was acquired in 2002 by Coldwell Banker, where Ann then associated and grew her business ever since. She began her career in relocation, a service she continues today, and has helped relocate top executives from LEGO, Hasbro/Milton Bradley, Baystate Health, MassMutual, Hallmark, UMass, Monsanto, and MGM Springfield, among others. Ann is the experience base of the Turnberg & Swallow Team, with more than 990 successful home transactions, $260 million in sales volume, and 35+ years of experience as an award-winning REALTOR®.
Erica Swallow began her real estate career after nearly two decades in marketing and technology, gaining skills she applies to her real estate practice. She has closed transactions in 20+ cities and towns and prides herself on her broad service area across MA, CT, and NH. She routinely services out-of-state buyers seeking unique properties across geographies other agents aren’t willing to service. She holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management; a B.S. in Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business; and an M.F.A. in Writing from Simmons University. She has written for Forbes, Fortune, and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications—and is an international speaker and author. In 2023, you can look forward to her bi-weekly Best in the Nest Series, a video project which features the best local businesses and attractions in Western Massachusetts and the Pioneer Valley.
Jennifer McDiarmid is a lifelong resident of Western Massachusetts with a deep knowledge and understanding of the area that is second to none. She is her clients’ go-to for local recommendations and insights, making her the perfect resource for buyers new to the area and sellers seeking local expertise. She is a graduate of Westfield State and the inaugural team member of the Turnberg & Swallow Team. Her high standards for professionalism, integrity, excellence, and ambitious goal-setting and achievement set her apart from other newer agents. As a part-time agent—and full-time history teacher at Palmer Public Schools—she produced more than $1.7 million in sales volumes in her first eight months. Jennifer aims to go full-time, and we are excited to see her development.
